This hotel that has been run by three generations of this lovely Italian family. It exceeded our expectations. Our room was beautifully furnished and presented, extremely comfortable with a lovely verandah overlooking the Mediterranean and Positano.
The reception and staff were extremely helpful with all aspects of our day to day needs.
We were also efficiently assisted and provided with day tour information. The buffet breakfast each day in the beautiful dining room with a sea view terrace was superb. Everything was beautifully fresh and presented with care. Lovely size room with spacious bathroom with a fabulous shower.
We were there for eleven days and were sad to leave this wonderfully warm and welcoming hotel that is truly a home away from home.

The hotel staff were wonderful with every interaction — front desk, room attendants were always friendly when we passed in the hall, both roof top deck bar attendants made the pool and deck experience even more special and it was pretty incredible on its own. The view out our room was like a dream, we felt like we were closer to heaven and it was breathtaking! “Walk” to the beach was so much fun — never expected what the path would lead us to, so beautiful and fun. We live outside of Philadelphia and we met two different couples from just minutes from where we live. A great experience in Praiano and Tramonto d’Oro is a gem. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Couldn’t recommend staying in Praiano and at this hotel more. We opted to stay here over Positano and it was the best decision. This was a perfect location for us as it’s on the closer end to Positano and was a quick 15 minute bus ride into the town. The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating. If you want an authentic and less-crowded experience – Praiano is the place to be.

Rooms are a little small but still nice and we had a good view of the water. The rooftop is great – an amazing view of the coast and nice pool. Great breakfast as well

My husband and I spent two nights at this hotel back in June 2019. Everything was wonderful during our stay. The staff was very helpful and even booked us a day boat trip to Capri. Our room was very nice and had an amazing balcony overlooking the water. The rooftop pool and restaurant had a gorgeous view as well. Would recommend this hotel!!

The entire staff at Tramonto D’Oro was fabulous. We felt so welcome and treated like family. Great recommendations on both wine and food. We were honored to meet three generations of family that run the restaurant.

The seafood and pasta was so fresh and well prepared. The views were outstanding as well. We were fortunate enough to be there during the Feast of San Genaro and had great entertainment from the performances next door.

Great value, quality and highly recommend this restaurant to any visitors on the Amalfi Coast
