new cooking course 2012

The cooking lessons : our chefs will take of the guests in a fabulous travel focus on typical dishes of the area such as Pasta, sauces, seafood, our famous Pizza and…… Sweets!!!
Ciro, Carmine and Salvatore have a natural talent for the cuisine, place daily loved by them.
They work with passion every day to satisfy the needs of our guests!!!
According with their passion everyone has a special role:
CARMINE……… 1st Courses!!!
Mixing the traditional regional cuisine with the modern cuisine, he can cook plates incredibly amazing………
CIRO……… king of the 2nd courses!!!
His mind is always at work!!! With experience and vocation he can cook delicious and unique plates!!!
SALVATORE……… Desserts, his passion!!!
Also if he is the youngest of the “magic trio” he cooks delicious cakes……irresistible temptation.
During the class the guests will enjoy the warm atmosphere of the staff in the kitchen feeling like being at home!!!
DAY ONE
Pick up at the airport/station, arrival at hotel, welcome drink, time to relax.
At 20.00 o’clock Dinner.
DAY TWO
Breakfast. Embark (during the Summer) from “La Praja” beach, boat excursion of the coast; visit to the Emerald Grotto (weather permitted); then stop to Positano. Visit of the well-known town, free time for shopping.
At 15.30 first cooking lesson dedicated to the Pasta, the chefs will show you how to do the hand made pasta and sauces.
At 20.00 dinner
DAY THREE
Breakfast. Transfer to Amalfi: Free-time to visit the town and his monuments: S. Andrew Duomo, the Paradise Cloister ,the Arsenals. Then drive on the Amalfi coast up to Ravello. Visit of the two beautiful and famous villas: Villa Rufolo with its medieval ruins and Villa Cimbrone with its fascinating views of the coast.
On the way back to the hotel stop to a local wine factory.
At 15.30 meeting with the chefs for a new cooking lesson: the famous Napoletan Pizza and the fish of our coast.
In the afternoon visit to a Limoncello factory and other typical liqueurs in Praiano.
At 20.00 dinner.
DAY FOUR
Breakfast. Transfer to Agerola and visit a Mozzarella - cheese laboratory. On the way back stop at Furore “ the Painted Village”.
On the way back to Praiano: visit to the ceramic factory in Praiano.
Other options: The guests can have their day free and can visit Sorrento, Pompei, Napoli that are easy to reach by public transports: otherwise embark from Positano to Capri.
For those who love the nature and to walk up the hill, it is very interesting the “SENTIERO degli DEI”(meaning the “Path of the Gods”) that from Praiano bring up on the monastery of San Domenico.
At 15.30 last cooking lesson : our desserts!!!
At 20.00 Gala dinner and graduation ceremony with the Chefs.
DAY FIVE
Breakfast. Check out and transfer from the Hotel to the airport /station.
The program includes:
Welcome drink;
- Transfer to/from Airport/station of Naples;
- 4 nights accomodation in a double room with sea-view at Hotel Tramonto D’Oro in Praiano;
- Breakfast buffet and dinner;
- 3 cooking lessons with interpreter;
- Excursion by boat to the Emerald Grotto and Positano;
- Entrance tickets at the Emerald Grotto;
- Transfer to Amalfi, Ravello and Agerola;
- Guide Service in Amalfi and Ravello;
- Entrance tickets at the museums and the Villas;
- Transfer to/from the beach “La Praja” ;Special gift……… for the guests !!!
