che dire... io e il mio futuro marito ci siamo innamorati un capodanno del lontano 1994 in questo bellissimo albergo. avevamo 12 anni... ricordo perfettamente la professionalità e la cortesia dei signori Esposito. e poi... la vista sui faraglioni ci ha incantato e ora ci sposiamo. direi che ci ha portato fortuna! un caro saluto!

This is long overdue but we stayed at Tramonto d oro in May 2012 and it was the most relaxing wonderfully accomadating place on the Amalfi Coast. Anita, Pepe and Carmella among others took care of all of our needs and made us feel at home. Thanks for a Great Vacation....we will be back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with The International Kitchen Cooking Under a Golden Sunset on the Amalfi Coast. The staff at the Hotel Tramonto D'Oro was wonderful and very accommodating to my group. We asked for a few changes to the schedule and the dishes that they planned to prepare, and they were flexible and helpful. One of the special parts of the trip was that we got to know the Esposito family who owns the hotel as well as their staff. We felt like part of the family by the end of the week. The hotel accommodations were excellent and very clean and comfortable. I would rate the experience as a 5 star trip, will recommend it to others, and will most definitely consider The International Kitchen for my future culinary trips.

What a truly delightful hotel! We spent nine nights here between 28th May and 6th June 2012, and were very sorry to leave. This is a really good family run hotel, in a village which despite the hustle and bustle of traffic along the Amalfi coast retains a very local character and friendliness. The little beach and its bar/restaurants is charming, and a vigorous morning's walk takes you straight up into the stunning mountains above. The nicest thing about the hotel, and about Praiano itself, was pehaps the feeling that everybody was genuinely pleased to see you, and to make sure that you enjoyed your holiday.

I stayed at Hotel Tramonto d'Oro in Praiano back in 2007 as part of an 'around the world' holiday. This was far-and-away the most spectacular, breathtaking, stunning (yes, I could keep going all day with the superlatives!!) place I stayed anywhere on the trip.
The views are beyond belief and the staff are amazing! Hotel Tramonto d'Oro is a family run hotel - and it shows. They go out of their way to make you feel like you are one of their family. I cannot rave enough about how great they were.
If you are looking for a more relaxed - even romantic, location on the Amalfi than the more hustle-and-bustle of Positano, I would DEFINITELY recommend Hotel Tramonto d'Oro - you most certainly won't be disappointed!

We spent 3 glorious nights at Tramonto d\\\'Oro during our drive through southern Italy. Our family is very grateful for the wonderful reception we received from Anita and Carmella - they made us feel very welcome. Mama Teresa took a particular interest in my daughter and had a warm smile and kind word every day for her (usually \\\"Bella\\\"). Giovanni went abover and beyond at breakfast every day adn we took lots of pictures with him when we left. If you want a beautiful view, gracious hospitality and a home away from home Tramonto d\\\'or is for you.

I hope we return someday! Ciao....

We spent our honeymoon with you several years ago and were so impressed with the wonderful family owned, first class atmosphere. I'm writing now because we're recommending (insisting) that our good friends, who are honeymooning there in March, stay with you. I know you will make their honeymoon and special as you did ours. We hope to come back on an anniversary soon and will definitely be staying at Hotel Tramonto d'Oro.

Our experience, overall, was excellent. From the landscape, to the food, to the cooking classes, to the tours…everything was absolutely amazing! To put things in perspective, if we had a chance to move to Amalfi, we’d do so in a heartbeat! ...The hotel staff was very cordial overall and quite accommodating. The hotel itself was terrific- clean, quiet, perfect location, ample-size rooms, simple yet elegant, breath-taking views…The cooking classes were amazing and so much fun! The chefs were very friendly, knowledgeable, patient, courteous, and seemed to genuinely enjoy working with us. It was a true pleasure. Everything was prepared prior to us arriving for the class and there were no language barriers. Having the chef and our interpreter sit down with us to enjoy the food we made together was a very, very nice touch. This was most likely our favorite part of the trip (although it’s so hard to choose a favorite).

This is a great way to see the world. I was travelling on my own and friends encouraged me to get my feet on the ground and get moving. What better way and better place than Hotel Tramonto D'oro and the cooking class. I met new friends, felt safe and sound and best of all had lots of fun.

I just arrived home to Sydney last night. I had lunch with friends today, they asked me what was the highlight of my month long trip and I had to say the Cooking Class at Hotel Tramonto D'Oro. I had a lovely time in Florence and Venice and later London, but my "highlight" I had to admit was Hotel Tramonto D'Oro. Accommodation was very good, side trips were wonderful and the Chefs went the extra mile in explaining. Chefs Ciro, Carmine and Salvatore were wonderfully patient and forthcoming with extra tips on how to achieve results with ease. Salvatore, who was translating (although we often got the idea from the chefs who were very passionate about their craft/art even though we only understood a little Italian) was extremely helpful and caring.

Carmela took great care of us to make sure everything was in order and to make sure we were happy. Mamma Teresa always called in on us to see how the cooking was coming along.... Always fine! Lots of tips in the class, so much sure you take pen along with the recipe book to take notes
The hotel was really wonderful, great view, nice comfy rooms, everything you want on a wonderful holiday.

Special thanks to Salvatore who is definitely worth his weight in gold in organising, translating and public relations, Salvatore, Carmine and Ciro for the very patient teaching, Giovanni and the guys in the restaurant/dining room made us feel like we were family.

It was a well rounded trip with visits to local artists,l
Limoncello factory, Emerald Grotto, Ravello, Amalfi, Prositano, Isle of Capri and guess what a free morning to lay by the pool and relax.

Well recommended, I would do it again in a heart beat!

We visited your hotel in late July,for our kid\'s graduation present, and it was perfect. We felt like were were in a family member\'s home than a hotel. Everyone was warm and friendly, I hope that we can come back one day! Rome was beautiful, but I fell in love with the coast.
